When You’re Stuck Between Two Choices

Feeling torn doesn’t mean you’re doing it wrong. Three gentle questions to help you see which way is right for you.

Some decisions sit with us for weeks. We go back and forth, ask everyone we know, and still end up right where we started. If that sounds familiar, take a breath: feeling torn usually means both choices matter to you.

Three questions to ask yourself

  • Which choice fits the person I want to be a year from now? Not the easiest one, the one that fits.
  • What am I really afraid of? Name it. Fear is quieter once it has a name.
  • If a friend brought me this problem, what would I tell them? We are often kinder and wiser with others than with ourselves.

Write your answers down. You don’t need a perfect decision today, just the next small step.

Progress, not perfection. One decision at a time.
